In a world where brands obsess over visuals, very few have defined how they sound.
This webinar explores why sonic branding is becoming one of the most powerful and underused tools in modern marketing. From audio logos and recognisable voices to the psychology of memory and music, discover how brands can move from simply being seen to being remembered.
Using real world examples and insights from the world of digital audio, podcasting and social media, this session unpacks how sound drives emotional connection, consistency and recall across every touchpoint.
The session is hosted by Aaron Matthews, the Founder and Creative Director of Original Audio, an Australian audio creative agency specialising in sonic branding, audio advertising and dynamic audio.
With more than 20 years in audio, Aaron’s career spans roles at BBC Radio 1 in the UK, Global Radio’s Capital FM London, Spotify and Acast. Today, he works with brands and publishers to help them use sound more strategically across podcasts, streaming, radio and social media.
Aaron is passionate about how audio shapes memory, emotion and attention in a digital first world, and regularly speaks on the future of sonic branding, dynamic creative and AI powered audio experiences.

Are Media will be presenting new research from WPP Media and Are Media, The Power Gap, revealing how influence really works for Australian women aged 45+ - one of the country's most powerful yet underestimated consumer segments. The national study of over 1,000 women uncovers what drives trust, credibility and purchase decisions for this audience, with findings that have direct implications for creators looking to grow their reach and impact. The research challenges common assumptions about influence in a social-first world, showing that women 45+ respond strongly to expert-led, editorially-aligned creators - and are actually more likely to act on recommendations from specialists they trust. With this demographic controlling billions in household spending, the findings point to a significant opportunity for creators who lead with credibility, consistency and depth.
