Genevieve Day is a leader in the marketing industry having founded Day Management, one of Australia's first digital talent management agencies in 2015. She has been recognised for her work by the Australian Financial Review Fast 100 List and was named in Forbes 30 Under 30. With a roster of over 60 top tier talent, her agency Day Management continues to be at the forefront of the industry working with leading brands from Apple to L'Oreal, Uber to Woolworths and everything in between. Most recently she launched her Substack 'Foxy Hedgehog' in early 2026 exploring agility in business and motherhood through the lens of a female founder.

Stephanie Scicchitano is the Managing Director of Born Bred Talent, where she leads the agency’s strategic growth, talent development and brand partnerships across Australia and internationally.

Stephanie has built her career at the intersection of talent management, media and brand partnerships, working closely with creators, athletes and public figures to shape long-term careers that extend far beyond traditional social media campaigns. Known for her strong commercial instincts and ability to identify culturally relevant opportunities, she hashelped guide talent into areas including television, publishing, consumer products, speaking, and creator-ledbusinesses.

Over the course of her career, Stephanie has worked with some of Australia’s most recognised personalities acrosssport, entertainment and digital media, negotiating partnerships with leading global brands and platforms whiledeveloping long-term career strategies for the talent she represents. Her work focuses on transforming creators intoenduring personal brands and founders, positioning them for opportunities across multiple industries.

As Managing Director of Born Bred Talent, Stephanie oversees the agency’s talent roster, brand partnerships and new ventures, while continuing to drive the evolution of the business as a modern talent and creator management company focused on longevity, ownership and cultural impact.

This webinar is a book talk and dialogue session on Professor Crystal Abidin's newest book Child Influencers: How Children are Entangled with Social Media Fame. Drawing on original empirical ethnographic fieldwork and case studies from Asia Pacific and beyond, and spanning various digital platforms, the interactive talk will explore a selection of the ten milestones and socio-cultural contexts that have led to ordinary children becoming famous online.

Speaker:

Professor Crystal Abidin is an anthropologist of vernacular internet cultures, focusing on internet celebrity and social media pop cultures in the Asia Pacific region. In 2025, The Australian named her the top researcher in the country in the field of Communication, and Stanford/Elsevier named her the top 0.13% of scientists worldwide in the subfield of communications and new media.
