R U OK? with AiMCO

Enjoy a cuppa and connection with us on R U OK? Day

RUOK?

Asking someone if they are ok, can be a very confronting experience but a conversation really can save a life. In this session we will explore the signs and symptoms to look for that may suggest someone would benefit from a 'R U OK?' conversation. Importantly, we will share the fundamentals of how to have a mental health conversation to give people the skills they need to approach the conversation with confidence.

AM I OK?

When was the last time you genuinely asked yourself 'AM I OK?'. In this session we will give everyone the opportunity to practice self-leadership when it comes to looking after their wellbeing. The world is such a busy and chaotic place and many people are struggling without taking the time to check in on themselves. This session will give people the opportunity to reflect and take action on looking after themselves.

Join us on journey with Chloe Hooper, a Mental Health First Aid trainer who has trained over 1000 people to gain their Mental Health First Aid Certification. Additionally Chloe has designed programs which break down the stigma around mental health and asking for help. It's time to bare all, gain confidence in the tough conversations and learn where to find help.
